Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist oversees ordering, receipt and rotation of product, and month-end inventory for Troubadour Bakery.


  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the facility meets or exceeds standards for food safety and organization
  • Master and implement procedures to maximize the efficiency of inventory control and limit food safety risks
  • Coordinate schedule to meet receiving and inventory demands
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and assess price increases and disparities. Coordinate improvements with bakery administrator
  • Label and rotate ingredient product to ensure freshness, in coordination with the production and food safety team
  • Provide timely and effective training, feedback, coaching, and mentoring to drive excellence
  • Manage inventory control, order products based upon a system of PARs and ingredient management
  • Responsibly maintain and ensure safe use of equipment including the lift and the pallet jack
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and easily-navigated work environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and work on feet for long periods
  • Proven organizational and inventory management skills
  • Must be proficient or have ability to learn MS Office and any necessary computer programs
  • Flexible availability
