The Receiving Specialist is responsible to receive and inspect all incoming orders of ingredients and supplies as it relates to Colectivo Coffee’s Mission and Core Values.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive all ingredients and supplies as they are delivered by our purveyors.
Track deliveries and troubleshoot order issues with purveyors.
Perform quality and food safety checks for all incoming
Facilitate the return of damaged or unusable products to purveyors.
Enters stock into ERP (Flexibake) software and tag incoming material containers.
Organize and maintain stock areas using proper FIFO rotation and prepare storage areas for incoming orders.
Monitor and communicate raw material and supply inventory throughout the facility with Troubadour Administrator and Managers.
Assists in placing some orders, when necessary and enter Purchase Orders into Flexibake.
Monitor and replenish, as needed, the various bulk ingredient bins throughout the facility.
Participate in monthly inventory process.
Works in accordance with all federal, state, and local safe production facility requirements.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a production facility
Minimum of 1 year of food handling experience
Proficient skill level for computer programs
Attention to detail
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate, once trained, a pallet jack (manual and electric)
Self-starter
Ability to work independently and on a team
Knowledge of basic mathematics for business usage
Availability and flexibility for schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, reach, bend and lift a minimum of 50lbs
Ability to see, read and write in English (proficiency in Spanish is also preferred)
