Sales Representative Madison

The Sales Representative serves as the primary driver of new account acquisitions and key account management for the Wholesale Sales Department as it relates to Colectivo Coffee’s Mission and Values.

Specific Responsibilities

• Responsible for sales activities from lead generation through close

• Will manage existing key account customers, with incremental assignments to be expected as the overall account base grows

• Responsible for the sales of Colectivo Coffee and Troubadour Bakery products and service to the cafes, grocery and restaurant industries

• Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals

• Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that allows Sales Representative to give effective presentation of Colectivo products and services

• Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models

• Demonstrates the ability to discuss strategic initiatives with business owners and decision makers

• Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email and networking within an assigned territory

• Work with customers to ensure proper coffee equipment, training and service

• Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a new account including competitor’s information

• Participate in demonstrations of Colectivo Coffee products as necessary at Colectivo accounts and other public events


Requires a High School education or equivalent

Possess strong organizational skills and be detail oriented

Possess basic computer skills

Must be able to work independently

Must be able to lift a minimum of 60lbs

Possess a valid WI driver license and clean driving record
