We at Colectivo are excited to support the Centerpiece film at this year’s Milwaukee Film Festival!
The ultra-rare, silent Soviet classic film “Earth (Zemlya)” will be screening on Friday, October 4th at 7pm at the Landmark Oriental Theatre. This one-night-only event features a live, original score performed in the theater by an 18-piece version of Milwaukee-based music ensemble Altos.
How better to celebrate with our community partners than with an after-party? Join us in the Back Room of Colectivo Prospect after the screening for coffee, snacks, and beer – the party is free and open to the public! A latte art throwdown will also be a part of the festivities, so be sure to check out our baristas go head to head as they try to outpour one another with the best rosettas, tulips, and hearts! (No kidding, this truly is a spectator sport.) Please note that the Prospect cafe will close at 8pm that evening in preparation for our event.
