Hello Friends & Neighbors,
We wanted to let you know the ways in which we have been keeping up with the ongoing COVID-19 situation, thoughtfully evaluating the well-being of our co-workers and customers as this global issue impacts our local communities.
Although a couple of our cafes currently remain closed, we are pleased to share that we now offer ColecDepot cafe service at all remaining locations! Our roastery and bakery remain open to our wholesale and online customers, and we appreciate your support. Coffee is always available at shop.colectivocoffee.com.
As a company, we have always practiced the high standards of safety and sanitary procedures mandated by local health codes. However, at this time we feel additional precautionary steps are appropriate in our efforts to stay healthy and do our part in prevention.
With the health and well-being of our customers and co-workers in mind, the following enhanced sanitary cafe procedures have been implemented:
➸ As always, we are asking co-workers to remain at home if they are ill.
➸ Coworkers will have a temperature reading at work before they start their shift and will be sent home if they have a fever of 100.4 or higher.
➸ All cafe coworkers are now wearing masks and gloves while working.
➸ Cafe interiors and exteriors will be visibly marked so that customers can safely maintain social distance while waiting to place or pick up their orders.
➸ We are increasing the frequency of all handwashing, disinfecting, and sanitizing procedures in all areas of our business.
➸ We are pausing our “reusable cup & reusable coffee bag” programs.
➸ All orders will be prepared to-go; no dine-in service is available in cafes, and restrooms will remain closed to the public.
➸ Ordering is available through the Colectivo App to allow for contact-free curbside pickup and payments.
➸ Finally, we are in the process of updating our cleaning procedures to ensure a nightly spray-down/deep cleaning at all cafes.
We ask that you PLEASE help keep everyone safe by wearing a mask when you come inside our cafes. If you don't have a mask, we have one for you. And we understand that as indoor seating becomes available once again, a mask will not be practical while you are at your table. However, we do ask that you wear a face covering when placing an order or waiting inside. For those who are unable to safely wear a mask, please order with the Colectivo App for curbside pickup or let us know so we can assist you. Thanks!
When we are notified of a co-worker receiving a positive test related to COVID, we take the following steps:|
➸ We promptly reach out to all co-workers who were within direct contact with the employee who tested positive. These co-workers have the option to continue working (provided they are not experiencing any COVID symptoms) and self-monitor or self-quarantine for a minimum of 72 hours.
➸ Once co-workers at the location where there has been a positive test have been contacted, an all clear message is sent to that cafe and any other affected area cafes.
➸ As stated above, every cafe will be sprayed down nightly and deep cleaned to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.
