National Diaper Need Awareness Week is September 27 - October 3, 2021. We're helping to spread the word and support our friends at Share Our Spare by hosting a diaper drive at all of our Chicago area cafes. Please consider donating!The facts about diaper need in Chicago are sobering: 1 in 3 children in Chicago live below the federal poverty level and despite the overwhelming need, government assistance programs do not cover diapers and wipes. Parents report having to choose between food or diapers for their children. This year Share Our Spare is hoping to collect 250,000 diapers.
