Starting on National Gluten Free Day this Monday, January 13, we're excited to offer a new lineup of gluten-free*, vegan bakery items across all Wisconsin cafes! This is a continuation of last year's reimagined food menu that introduced more plant-based, protein-rich, gluten- and dairy-free options. Our goal is to offer delicious treats for all, so with that in mind, we have expanded our use of inventive recipes and progressive ingredients like alternative sweeteners, oat and nut flours. We think you'll be delighted by the results!
New items include the Tahini Caramel Square, a Ginger Orange Cream Cookie Sandwich, Oatmeal Blueberry Protein Bites, and Chocolate Almond Protein Bites. The existing Morning Glory Muffin and Cranberry Almond Date Bar have been updated to omit dairy and eggs and are now made using almond flour instead of wheat.
Gluten-free (non-vegan) items available include the Chocolate Almond Cake, Flourless Peanut Butter Cookie, Double Chocolate Toffee Cookie, Chocolate-Dipped Macaroon, and a protein-packed Sesame Bar.
All GF/V items are made by our own Troubadour Bakery and feature the same focus on high-quality ingredients, creative flavor profiles, and made-from-scratch techniques as our other products. And while we're excited to offer these great new options, we'll still continue to carry many of our cafe classics.
