19th Annual Milwaukee Empty Bowls Fundraiser

Since 1999, Milwaukee Empty Bowls has been uniting the community with local artists, restaurants, bakeries, and entertainers to help agencies that fight hunger.

On Sunday, October 8, from 11am -2pm at the MSOE Kern Center, donate $25 ($10 for bowls made by "young artists"), take your pick from more than 2,000 handcrafted bowls and sample soups and breads from 30+ local businesses, including Colectivo and a variety of fresh breads and baguettes from Troubadour Bakery!

The event will feature live entertainment as well as information from this year's seven recipient organizations about how their programs help feed Milwaukee's hungry. Ninety-five per cent of funds raised on October 8 will directly benefit area food pantries and meal programs.

Bowls purchased at the event help benefit Milwaukee's hungry and serve as a reminder that someone's bowl is always empty. We hope to see you October 8 at the Kern Center!
